Moxie Falls & Grand Falls

Did you know that Maine’s tallest waterfall is just a short drive from our Forks Fun Resort? Let us show you! Our waterfall excursion begins at Moxie Falls, a striking single-drop waterfall standing at an impressive 90 ft tall. Although beautiful in all seasons, Moxie Falls is a favorite among locals and visitors to swim in the summer. The hike is a fairly easy and short one. Round trip, the trail is about 2 miles, but has some seriously remarkable views, that you will definitely want to bring your camera for.

After Moxie Falls, we will take a drive down some authentic, rugged logging roads to the hidden gem: Grand Falls. This waterfall holds true to its name! This classic horseshoe waterfall stands 40 feet tall, and 100 feet across. We’ll show you killer views of Grand Falls from above the falls as well as below! 

We often cross paths with wildlife on these two trips so make sure to keep an eye out for deer, moose, bald eagles and other wildlife. We are very flexible with the timing of these trips, so give us a call and let’s figure out what works best for you. There is no minimum age and both hikes are short and easy to moderate.
