Things to do in The Forks, Maine

A Perfect weekend in The Forks Maine.

Friday night – Check in at one of our campsites or cabins at Kelley Brook Campground. We also have rooms and fine diner down the street at our Inn by the River After you are all settled, choose smores and stargazing or walk on over to the The Boatman’s Bar & Grill for Karaoke night and some great food and drinks! We are located in one of the dark sky regions in the country!!! Plan your trip around a new moon or a meteor shower for a special evening.
Saturday Morning – Hit the river with our top tier guides on a 12 mile Whitewater rafting trip down the Kennebec River.
Lunch – Enjoy lunch grilled by our team back at the base. Afterwards, walk that steak and those cookies off during a quick hike to Moxie Falls!
Evening – Come on down to The Boatman’s for some Axe throwing to get warmed up for a wild evening, enjoy a bite to eat, drinks, a Bonfire and some damn good live music as the night goes on! Check out our Event Calendar to plan your trip around a show or a HUGE water release trip! We are also listing Dead River Release dates here too.
Sunday – Morning – Start your day off right with a wonderful breakfast at The Inn By The River. After you’ve filled your belly, take a ride out to Grand Falls. This quick hike is a great way to see of Maine’s most stunning waterfalls.
