How long have you worked in the Outdoor Industry?
I started working at Three Rivers Whitewater in the Summer of 2021.
What is your origin story working for Three Rivers Whitewater?
I first started working here when I was accepted for an intern position within the Marketing Department, and without hesitation I decided to go through guide training. I chose Three Rivers Whitewater because of all the experience I would gain from “working” at the Home of Serious Fun!
What do you love most about being a Maine River Guide?
I have always been a huge fan of extreme sports. It has been one of my biggest passions and I love that I get to share the experience with guests as I guide them through the ride of their lives.
What is your favorite rapid to guide in Maine?
My Favorite Rapid on the Kennebec River is called Big Momma and what I love most about it is that if you hit the set of waves right it feels like you’re on a rollercoaster.
What is your favorite hike in Maine?
I love hiking Mosquito Mountain for its short hike and the outstanding 360 views.
What do you enjoy doing when not working?
When I’m not working I like to take duckies out on the river with my friends. I also do a little photography and hiking here and there, and go for runs on the snowmobile trails.
Favorite experience on the river?
Taking my friend from college and his family down the Kennebec River. It was some of their first times ever whitewater rafting and so I really enjoyed giving them that kind of thrilling experience, something that my friend and his family can remember for a while.
