How long have you worked in the Outdoor Industry?

I started working in the Outdoor Industry during May 2022 as a Three Rivers guide!

What is your origin story working for Three Rivers Whitewater?

I originally came to Three Rivers as a guest in 2020 and had an amazing day rafting. Almost two years later, after seeing an email about guide training, I decided to go for it and take the course. I’m so happy I completed training!

What do you love most about being a Maine River Guide?

I love the amazing people on the river who are just as excited about rafting as I am! Whether it be with guests or other guides the river is always full of fun!

What is your favorite rapid to guide in Maine?

My favorite rapid to guide is definitely Magic Falls Rapid on the Kennebec River! It’s the biggest class IV of the day and has lots of fun features to hit that make for a great time.

What is your favorite hike in Maine?

I really enjoy hiking into Grand Falls. It’s a nice, short hike with a beautiful destination. The waterfall at the end is gorgeous!

What do you enjoy doing when not working?

On my days off I still love going to the river! There is so much to do and learn on the Kennebec River so it only feels right to be there. I also love to play soccer and tennis along with hanging out with the other river guides.

Favorite experience on the river?

There are too many to choose just one! Every trip on the Kennebec is exciting and holds something new. Even if it’s raining or it was a challenging day during guide training, each day is still full of fun!
