How long have you worked in the Outdoor Industry?

I have worked in the outdoor industry for 7 years. I started out as a sea kayaking / whitewater kayaking instructor at sleep-away outdoor camps that lead multi day trips for the campers. In 2020 I found my home at Three Rivers.

What is your origin story working for Three Rivers Whitewater?

In 2018 I came up as a guest with the camp I was working for at the time. I was supposed to go into television production, but then covid happened. I found the Guided Marketing Internship online and the rest is history.

What do you love most about being a Maine River Guide?

I love being able to get out on the water daily with guests and fellow guides. Everyday is different and offers new opportunities to learn!

What is your favorite rapid to guide in Maine?

My favorite rapid to guide in Maine is Maytag at 8000 CFS.

What is your favorite hike in Maine?

My favorite hike in Maine is Moxie Falls! It is a short hike located in The Forks with a beautiful waterfall at the end which is 90 feet tall!

What do you enjoy doing when not working?

I love taking play-boats out with my friends, chilling at Crusher Pool or by a fire, and sending the Upper Kennebec Gorge in a duckie.

Favorite experience on the river?

Some of my favorite experiences on the river are surfing Elephant Rock at 4000 CFS on the Dead River, and flipping at Maytag on a 8000 CFS night run.
