How long have you worked in the Outdoor Industry?
I’ve worked in the outdoor industry for the last 5-6 years.
What is your origin story working for Three Rivers Whitewater?
I wanted to guide in Maine and Three Rivers had the best guide training program!
What do you love most about being a Maine River Guide?
I love that the river is always changing and a great teacher. Every time I go out, I learn something new and improve my skills.
What is your favorite rapid to guide in Maine?
My favorite rapid to guide is the Alleyway on the Kennebec River. It’s the longest of the class IV rapids which makes it a fun challenge!
What is your favorite hike in Maine?
I’m not sure yet, I need to get out there more. One hike I have done is Moxie Falls. It’s a 90-ft tall, single drop waterfall that is only a short walk to get to with an amazing view!
What do you enjoy doing when not working?
When I’m not working I enjoy getting out on the river and going boating.
Favorite experience on the river?
I love seeing people at the beginning of the day who were worried swap into wanting to do another lap!
