Summer relaxation at its finest

Picture yourself floating down the beautiful Kennebec River– beer (juice box?) in hand- surrounded by green pine trees, blue sky, warm water, and your friends. The sun is shining, the water is clear, and you find yourself wondering when your next free day is that you can come back and do this all over again.

Tubing has become one of summer’s most popular activities, especially here in The Forks. It is an experience in the heart of Maine wilderness that is relaxed, fun, and hassle-free. Who wouldn’t enjoy a lazy float, splashing your friends, soaking up the sunlight, basking in the natural beauty of Maine, and maybe spotting a bald eagle?

Tubing is totally safe for kids, totally easy to plan, and a total blast for everyone. If you are looking for a fun group activity, this will have everyone smiling the entire float downriver. It is one million times cooler than doing an indoor lazy river- don’t even bother going back to that waterpark. Leave the crowds, beaches, and cities behind, and social distance the fun way!

Bring that cooler stocked with your drink of choice, bring water, wear clothes you won’t mind getting wet (depends on how much your friends are splashing you), and wear shoes that have an ankle strap because the Kennebec has swallowed too many flip-flops already.
