 The Kennebec River is renowned for its breathtaking wilderness setting, exhilarating high-volume whitewater with 6 to 8 foot waves and large holes in rapids that live up to their names like Rock Garden, Big Mama, Whitewasher and the power of the infamous Magic Falls. Opportunities abound to watch other rafters try their luck at the rapids. We often stop to explore some of the streams, waterfalls and swimming holes the gorge has to offer.
All our Maine Rafting trips include a snack and drink on the river and a complete homemade meal sure to cure any paddler's appetite followed by a slide and video presentation of your day on the river.
This Kennebec River white water rafting trip has a minimum age of 10 years old. Younger rafters and others interested in a less rigorous trip can join us on the lower section of the river at a reduced rate.

Wetsuits
We have a collection of the finest suits available; they are designed to be attractive, comfortable and functional to enhance all of your river experiences. Wetsuits are typically needed only during the Spring Rafting Season.
Wetsuit rentals are always available on any of our river trips. Three Rivers holds the right to require our guests to wear wetsuits on The Kennebec River should conditions apply. Rentals are $15.00 per day. If you have your own wetsuit, you're welcome to bring it along.
