Not up for the full whitewater experience? Join us on a flatwater trip on the Kennebec River from the Forks to Wyman Lake. This trip is for people of all ages and anyone who just wants to relax, enjoy beautiful scenery and a day on the water. We will drift along leaving all worries behind. On the river you'll enjoy a tasty snack.

Dead River Recreational Releases

The Dead River runs throughout the summer at lower water flows called recreational releases. Using smaller boats these releases offer a technical run with endless play spots-combining a day of intermediate rafting with aggressive inflatable kayak paddling. This trip is ideal for young families with a minimum age of 6 for the family rafting and a minimum age of 16 for the Inflatable Kayak Trip. We often bring inflatable kayaks along on the rafting trip to accommodate both young children and the older more adventurous family members on the same trip.
