Maine Overnight Rafting Trips - Penobscot River

A Real Escape

Experience the exhilaration of two days of Maine rafting and a night of remote camping in the Maine Wilderness. It is an adventure you will not soon forget.

After a full buffet breakfast you will begin your adventure at McKay Station, where you will raft the Penobscot River through class IV & V rapids such as Exterminator and The Cribworks to Little Amberjackmockamus. Once there, you will enjoy a riverside picnic lunch. You will then continue rafting through more Class III & IV whitewater to our primitive campsite at Salmon Point. Witness spectacular views of surrounding mountains and catch a glimpse of surrounding wildlife. There will also be plenty of time to catch some fish, swim, go for a walk or just relax by the river.

At your campsite, where your tents are already set up, a delicious campfire meal, prepared by your guides, awaits you. Enjoy the evening and night of campfire camaraderie.

The next morning, you will awake to a hearty breakfast and then proceed downstream through Class III & IV rapids like Nesowdnehunk Falls for an additional day of whitewater rafting.

Finish up with another scrumptious homemade meal. This trip is sure to leave you with a renewed energy to take on the "real world".

We provide:

Tents, Sleeping Pads, All food - snack, drinks & full meals, river gear, shuttle to and from all destinations, dry bags for your personal gear.

You need to bring:

Sleeping bag, warm clothing, sturdy footwear and your unique sense of adventure and fun!!

• $179.00 - $199.00 pp ~ Add Lobsters for your dinner on the Overnight for an additional $17.00 per person + 7% Maine meals tax!
