INN BY THE RIVER

This four-season inn has 10 comfortable rooms in a country style setting for you to enjoy. The Inn by the River carries a relaxed ambiance that reflects our serene riverside setting. Centrally located in the heart of Maine’s outdoor recreation capital, the Inn offers convenient access to the wilderness, rafting, tubing rentals, fishing, hunting, hiking, snowmobiling, and more. 

Each room has modern amenities with private bathrooms, A/C, heat, and hi-speed WiFi. 6 of the rooms boast private, screened in porches and whirlpool bathtubs. All of our room stays come with daily housekeeping and continental breakfast. 

There are ample amounts of common areas for all our guests to enjoy. The pub offers a quaint bar atmosphere with a 55” flat screen TV. Our Great Room features a stone fireplace with a cozy sitting and reading area. And outside, you can enjoy our long country porch with unparalleled views of the Kennebec River. During the day you can watch the hummingbirds feed, at night you can sit around the fire and look up at the stars.

The Riverside Restaurant & Pub is located on the first floor of the inn and provides our guests, as well as locals, with the best breakfast, lunch and dinner options in town! The chefs are always whipping up creative and delicious specials to supplement our already fantastic menu. The dishes are always crafted with the freshest of ingredients, many harvested from our own on-site garden. There is also a full-service bar in the pub serving cold Maine craft beer and craft cocktails.
